Here is an interesting fact...sort of...and not for the squemish.
1 Corinthians 6: 18 Was a man already circumcised when he was called? He should not become uncircumcised. Was a man uncircumcised when he was called? He should not be circumcised. 19 Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God's commands is what counts. 20 Each one should remain in the situation which he was in when God called him.
Why did Paul write this? Well at Corinth there were 'athletic games'. These were played in the nude by the athletes. Some of the Jewish and other competitors were embrassed by the fact their 'old fella' was circumcised. So... they were actually having a pseudo reverse type operation to make it look like everyone elses....true...
