Still reflecting on 1 Corinthians....
Small group last night, we discussed it...the variety and knowledge we bring together is great...maybe I should have small group before I have to teach this subject...
Trying to convince my class that exegisis is useful...some of them cant see the point...explained its like looking at a jewel, a diamond, a ruby.....if you look at it from various angles...you get all different yet valuable insights.

" 20 So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world’s brilliant debaters? God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish. 21 Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe."
At times...sharing the gospel with people may seem foolish....even to us....but through the power of God, people can come to see the true wisdom in accepting the Jesus story.....It is an honest assesment by Paul...which is very encouraging to us who deeply desire to see people come to know Jesus as we do.
